How long does it take ?
That depends on a number of factors and the biggest factor is how particular is your criteria.
Are you looking for a 1BR condo at Colonial Village? That should a matter of weeks as there are a couple hundred units that fit your criteria.
On the other hand, if you are looking for a unit with a terrace at Clarendon1021, well that could take a while since there are only about a dozen or so.
What if I don't like what you find?
No problem. You are under no obligation to buy anything.
Who do you represent?
We would represent you as a buyer's agent. We never do dual agency where the agent represents both the buyer and the seller. Even though it is legal to do so in some states, we never do that as it is a conflict of interest.
What if I already have a buyer's agent?
If you have a signed contract with an agent, then you have to honor the contract. You can:
- Hope something comes on the market and you can beat the competition.
- Ask your agent to be proactive and find you something off-market instead of just waiting for something to pop up on the MLS.
- Wait until your agreement expires and then work with us.
What if I'm not sure what I'm looking for?
It is very common not to know exactly what you want. We will work with you to discover what you really want.
Why would an owner sell their condo off-market?
Convenience. The seller doesn't have to worry about prepping their house, having strangers come view their home and paying a listing agent.
