Columbia Knolls

Columbia Knolls consists of three midrise buildings totaling 189 units on Columbia Pike, built in 1961. The community is located at 5101 and 5111 8th Road South and 750 Dickerson, giving it a campus-style presence in this part of the Pike.

The amenity set is unusually strong for a community from this era: a pool, basketball court, playground, picnic area, elevator access, and common laundry. That’s a lot of shared space for a 1960s development, and it gives Columbia Knolls a community feel that many newer buildings lack.
